Komorebi: A Queer Book

In this book, based on the show of the same name, Giorgia Mazzucato takes us with sharp irony through the fundamental stages of her queer story. A personal story, but one that can speak to many. A simple story, that of a woman who loves another woman. As the story unfolds, laughter alternates with dramatic moments, bringing to the surface different facets of the homobitransphobia that grips our country. The title is a tribute to the unstoppable light of social revolutions. Komorebi is a Japanese word that means “the light of the sun that filters through the leaves of the trees”. An image that can be associated with what is happening in the world of the LGBTQIA+ struggle, with its light of dignity and tireless pride that continues to filter through the obscurantist leaves of our era.
