The protagonist of this novel lives in downtown Milan with Olga, her faithful dog, who witnesses the evolutions and revolutions of her existence, the stage nights of her fears, the leaden skies and glimpses of light. There will be many feelings with which she will have to deal: historical friendship for a schoolmate, relationship with her brother and old uncle, homosexual love, the call and tension toward motherhood, passion for architecture, falling in love and perhaps love for a man, and betrayal. Within this skein tangles the most important thread: the life force that drives one to overcome difficulties and conflicts, that makes one find courage even in fear, that leads one to face the world and live every day with enthusiasm.
