Tequila bang bang

Three women. The protagonist, her ex-husband, her mother. The naive, the beautiful, and the wicked. The mother, an algid and chic businesswoman, traffics with Mexican narcos, until her unsuspecting daughter Jole, a former Crazy Horse dancer, while Mom is in Mexico, finds a headless corpse in her apartment and her ex-husband-now happily Corinna-helps her get rid of it, but in doing so they both end up in the clutches of criminals, who kidnap them and take them to Mexico City, to the boss of bosses Xavier, known as “la Tumba,” secret lover of the elderly mother. From that moment it rains bullets, stabbings, shootings, explosives go off, warehouses full of drugs collapse, and the drugs disappear and everyone dies like flies. And in this ruckus our heroines manage to escape, increasingly ragged and bleeding in their designer dresses and Louboutin heel 13s, only to end up in the vengeful jaws of the most vicious criminal gang on the planet. The book drips with blood, massacres, blown-out brains, eyes skewered with heel 13s, explosions, killings, death traps, fried bugs to munch on like chips, drug-stuffed cigars, dumb killers, carrion centenarians, sexy octogenarians, bumbling traitors, in a splatter crescendo to make Tarantino envious. Yet it all has an unexpected effect: it puts one in a good mood.
