March 2020. In a small Andalusian village, the mayor raises a rainbow flag on the town hall. The gesture divides the community in two. Juan and his husband Sebastian are still considered “outsiders” by many residents. That colourful fabric waving above the houses becomes the symbol of a rift that had been brewing for some time.
