Fulvia Antonelli is an associate professor (until recently) in the Department of Education Sciences ‘Giovanni Maria Bertin’ at the University of Bologna, specialising in general and social pedagogy. Her research focuses on urban pedagogy, migration, educational inequalities and social inclusion processes. She has published studies on educational ethnography, adolescence and cultural work in urban contexts. She also teaches a course on ‘Intercultural Pedagogy’ at the University of Bologna (academic year 2025/2026).
