Two friends in a red car drive through Italy: music to sing, the wind in their hair, their hand out the window playing with the air. They are in their forties and their lives are stranded. Andrea awaits a verdict on which his love life depends. Paul is in crisis: of couple, of identity, of middle age. Or perhaps it is merely a need for levity. The car in which they travel is an old Fiat 850 spider. Paolo’s father had had to sell it to make room for the family, and he still regrets it. So Paolo decided to retrieve it and surprise him. As they travel back from Puglia to Milan, Paolo and Andrea talk to each other with the ruthlessness that can only be afforded between friends: love, work, parents… And what seemed like insoluble problems deflate in the light of light irony.
