[atlasvoice]

From terminus to terminus, on any tram, in a highly recognisable city that is never named (because it could very well be yours…), she “had broad shoulders, like someone who can carry enormous burdens”.

All it took was a sudden braking manoeuvre and… “we hugged each other so we wouldn’t fall. Or so we could fall together?”.
The truth is that ‘I should have told you, either you come down with me or we’ll never come down.’ And then: ‘Why go home if you’re not my home?’

The question is as poignant as the images Giulia Ananiìa has stolen from a constantly moving metropolitan universe, with the feeling that, stop after stop, that suspended time – a veritable treasure trove of stories made up of ‘fears so similar in bodies so different’ – hides a wonderful mystery, restless souls, “the nostalgia for a kiss never given” along with smiles capable of brightening the gloomiest of days and, above all, an unexpected possibility of salvation. The possibility, that is, of touching the most precious secret with one’s own hands, discovering that “everyone has to deal with the word love at least once in their life”.
